Gardens of Delight began in 2001 as an out growth of my plant collections accumulated over many years of gardening. Many of these plants have sentimental as well as horticultural value as they are all that remains of many gardening friends, now long gone. The force behind the Nursery has been Morgan. My daughter.
Because of our background in garden design we wanted to create a place for unique garden accessories, fragrant plants we love, native species, as well as provide the expertise to put it all together.
I had been watching the corner of Rt. 9 and Clarks Gap Road for 20 years holding the thought of how fun it would be to have a family nursery on the unused lot. That opportunity manifested in 1999, when I rented the space. Morgan jumped on the idea and with our landlord Donnie Walker and his expertise in historic shed design a new entity was formed. Little did we know at the time that Donnie & Morgan would also form a partnership of marriage! We celebrated their wedding last September.
We have enjoyed the adventure and are so honored to be a part of the community of local Loudoun growers. We hope you will enjoy our delightful nursery and the magic it provides and produces in your garden world. |

Christmas Open House
Celebrate Christmas with us and enjoy hit cider, angel bars and other treats. Christmas decorating begins at Gardens of Delight with our custom wreaths, Fragrant holiday tree’s and arrangements.
